Resumen
 Los efectos de la incorporación de 4 mezclas de aceites esenciales y de extractos vegetales en el pienso sobre la mortalidad y el crecimiento de los conejos se estudiaron sobre 3 600 conejos. No se utilizó ningún antibiótico y los gazapos procedían de una maternidad completamente sin medicación. El pienso se distribuía a discreción. Todas las mezclas estudiadas disminuyeron la mortalidad con relación a la del pienso testigo. A principio de engorde, las mortalidades más bajas se obtienen con una mezcla que presenta un amplio espectro de eficacia sobre los distintos microorganismos implicados en la patología digestiva (COPRIFIT) utilizado a 1,5 Kg/tonelada; por contra, en final de engorde, la mortalidad se estabiliza con una mezcla de 1 Kg/tonelada de COPRIFIT y de 2 Kg/tonelada de extractos vegetales activos en el ámbito respiratorio y immunitaria, el COPRIPUR. El COPRIFIT utilizado solo a 1 Kg/tonelada o el COPRIDIGEST, mezcla de aceites esenciales activos frente a Clostridium y sobre las Eimeria presentaron una eficacia intermedia. Por a otra parte, algunas mezclas de aceites esenciales y de extractos vegetales, especialmente las más eficaces en términos de reducción de mortalidad, implican una pequeña disminución del crecimiento. En conclusión, los aceites esenciales y los extractos vegetales pueden constituir una solución interesante en el mantenimiento de la Salud de los conejos pero es importante definir las condiciones de su utilización en función del estado fisiológico de los animales y de la patología dominante de la ganadería.

Abstract
 The effects of incorporation of 4 essential oils or plant extract mix in the feed on the mortality and the growth of rabbits were studied on 3 600 rabbits. No medicated feed was used and the weaned rabbits came from a maternity using no medication. They were fed ad libitum. All the 4 mixes decreased the mortality compared to control feed. At the beginning of the growing period, the lowest mortalities are obtained with an essential oil mix with a large spectrum of efficiency against micro-organisms involved in the digestive pathology (COPRIFIT) and used at 1,5 Kg/ton; beside, at the end of the growing fattening period, the mortality is stabilized by a mix of 1 Kg/tonne of COPRIFIT and of 2 Kg/ton of vegetable extracts efficient at respiratory and immune levels, the COPRIPUR. The COPRIFIT used alone at 1 Kg/ton or the COPRIDIGEST, essential oils mix efficient against Clostridium and Eimeria, have an intermediate efficiency. By else, some essential oils and plant extracts mix, particularly the most effective in term of mortality reduction generate a light growth reduction. In conclusion, essential oils and plant extracts constitute an interesting solution in the rabbits Health maintenance, but the conditions of their use according to the animal physiological conditions and of the dominant pathology of the farm have to be established.
